About TornadoAlley Remastered

TornadoAlley Remastered is a relaunch of OwenGrylls' TornadoAlley server (2016 through 2018), recreated by MaxedCarp. The original modpack was passed down from OwenGrylls to TheDeafCreeper and continued running multiple different variations of packs revolving around the same concept, but with different mods. Later renamed to Prolieum Modded and shut down in early May 2022, the name and server were picked back up shortly after by MaxedCarp and TornadoAlley Remastered was created in its stead. TornadoAlley Remastered now has two different servers under its wing: TornadoAlley Survival and TornadoAlley LightWeight

TornadoAlley Survival

TornadoAlley Survival was the first server available in TA: Remastered. It featured a wide variety of mods and more than enough quests to keep players playing for days on end. The TornadoAlley Survival server has various mods: From technology advancements to quality of life and exploration. From new biomes to building and decorating. The goal of the TornadoAlley Survival modpack is to give players as much freedom and as much content as possible while allowing people of all kinds to come together! It is based on Localized Weather and Storms, Biomes o' Plenty, Chickens, EnderIO, and many more mods. The pack doesn't really have a final goal nor any specific path the player has to follow. If the player wishes to follow a certain path, simply completing quests will give direction to the them.

TornadoAlley LightWeight

TornadoAlley LightWeight is the second server available in TA: Remastered. It features a constant collection of mods that is easier to run. The TornadoAlley LightWeight server has one primary goal: To be run on more machines and have much higher performance. It has a single set of mods across all resets and wipes and will be reset bi-yearly starting after it's first reset. While it has less mods, it doesn't mean it is any less fun. It is more build and design focused rather than technological or magical advancement, allowing for more creativity and design. Similar to the main Survival server, the pack doesn't really have a final goal nor any specific path the player has to follow. The player is free to do as they pleases and create their own gameplay style.
